Nolwazi Nene is a Campaigner at Open Secrets where she focuses on event curation, communications, and content creation. She is also very good at alliterating. Her work at Open Secrets has helped grow our audience and broaden our reach, particularly in the arts. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Spanish and Politics from the University of Cape Town, and is interested in global Black histories, storytelling, and exploring freedom through African/Black feminist literature and art. When she’s not at Open Secrets, Nolwazi spends her time reading and whispering to the masses on her ASMR YouTube channel. She also freelances as a developmental editor (fiction and non-fiction).
