National Director of Public Prosecutions Shamila Batohi says the National Prosecuting Authority’s comeback story after state capture has been nothing short of remarkable. Batohi hosted a media roundtable on efforts to rebuild the NPA after state capture. This year marks five years since Batohi was appointed to the position. One of the biggest challenges she was faced with at the time was turning around an NPA that had been ravaged by state capture. Has the NPA turnaround been successful?
